This collection of tools and datasets helps city officials and community members work with data about city addresses. The information connects with previously-available datasets in the city's Open Data Portal, and makes it easier to analyze the fundamental units of measurements that make up the city. The initial release focuses on addresses, buildings, building units, and land parcels.

Data is provided by a variety of city and state sources, including the Detroit City Council, Detroit Public Schools, Detroit Board of Police Commissioners, and the City Planning Commission.

The Detroit Office of the Assessor; the Department of Public Works; the Buildings, Safety Engineering and Environmental Department; and the Department of Innovation and Technology.
